With a strong background in leadership, Ms. Salam holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Jordan (1988) and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Yarmouk University (1981). Her professional career spans over four decades including 24 years at Arab Bank in leadership roles focused on in management, institutional development, and strategic planning. After her early retirement from Arab Bank as Senior Vice President in HR Systems Development, she worked as regional freelance management consultant and assumed various leadership roles, including project management and organizational development at Community Media Network, a non-profit media organization which she co-owns. Along her professional years, she also worked as English instructor and trainer both in the academic and business sectors. Parallel to her professional work, Ms. Salam has served in various church ministries with both the Alliance and Baptist churches.
Ms. Salam served on the Board of Trustees of Alliance Academy Jordan for three years before assuming the role of its General Director in 2022. Guided by AAJ’s vision, she is committed to leading the school and advancing its mission of providing a high-quality, values-based education that nurtures integrity, excellence, and faith-driven purpose in every student.
Jumana Akkawi
Ms. Jumana holds an M.A. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Assessment and Evaluation from the University of Jordan (2009), a High Diploma in Women’s Studies from the University of Jordan (2002), and a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Technology from the same institution (1994).
With over 32 years of experience in education, she has served as Principal across Primary, Middle, and High School stages. She is the Cofounder and General Director of Little Learners Nursery for Educational Services and has also worked as an Educational Consultant in the United Arab Emirates in 2009.
Her leadership extends to board memberships, including serving as a current member of the Private School Council. She was Director of the Sisters of Nazareth School Alumnae from 2014 to 2015 and Director of the Bait Mariam Initiative between 2011 and 2016.
Firas Marji
With a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Jordan, Mr. Firas brings over two decades of experience in financial management and accounting. Over the past 10 years, he has worked with a range of companies, gaining extensive expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing. For the last 11 years, he has been a key member of the team at Alliance Academy Jordan, contributing to the school’s financial stability and operational excellence.
Reem Amareen
Ms. Reem Amareen is the Director of the Life Development Department and a member of the Leadership Team at Alliance Academy Jordan. She holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Jordan and brings over 25 years of experience in the field of education. With more than 16 years as a teacher and Science Department Coordinator, she combines strong scientific expertise with a deep passion for personal and community development. She also holds professional certifications in Teaching Methods, Leadership, Counseling, Advising, and Trauma Healing, enriching her holistic approach to learning and growth.
Over the past decade in educational leadership and management, Ms. Reem has focused on creating nurturing learning environments and empowering teachers and students alike. She is committed to building strong, trust-based relationships with parents and ensuring that the school remains an engaging and welcoming environment that enhances student skills and strengthens their connection to the local community.
As a specialist in designing and implementing value-based programs, she works to promote personal growth, emotional resilience, and social responsibility—ensuring that education extends beyond academics to shape compassionate, confident, and capable individuals.
Yousef Khlaif
With a B.A. in Computer Science and over three decades of professional experience, Mr. Yousef brings a wealth of expertise in leadership, operations, and facilities management. Before joining the education sector, he proudly served for 20 years in the Jordan Armed Forces, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, organization, and strategic planning.
Following his military service, Mr. Yousef contributed to the establishment phase of the school, overseeing construction work with precision and dedication. For the past 12 years, he has managed Facility Services and Operations, ensuring that the campus remains safe, efficient, and conducive to learning.
Mr. Yousef is committed to excellence in operational management and to creating a well-maintained environment that supports the school’s mission and community.
Sarah Haddadin
Ms. Sarah holds a Diploma in Educational Leadership from the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Jordan. With nearly two decades of combined experience and a career that bridges education and professional development, she brings a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for empowering others.
Over the past years, Ms. Sarah has served in educational leadership roles as a Coordinator and Stage Principal, leading teams and fostering positive, student-centered learning environments. Before that, she gained eight years of teaching experience in international schools, where she cultivated a deep understanding of global education standards and diverse learning needs.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Sarah spent six years as a Trainer and Training Coordinator at Better Business Company, designing and delivering programs that enhanced organizational performance and professional skills.
Driven by a commitment to excellence and continuous growth, Ms. Sarah continues to integrate her leadership experience with education vision to inspire progress within both learners and educators.
Dina Hashweh
Ms. Dina is a dedicated educator with a Professional Educator Certificate from Alabama, USA (2008) and a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Petra University (2004), following academic studies at Toccoa Falls College, Georgia, USA.
With over 18 years of experience in education, Ms. Dina has served as both a teacher and coordinator for ten years before moving into educational leadership as a Primary Stage Principal for the past eight years. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to fostering inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environments that support every child’s academic and personal growth.
She believes that education is not only about knowledge but also about building character, confidence, and curiosity in students, preparing them to thrive as lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.
Maysa Halteh
Ms. Maysa holds dual degrees, a B.A. in English Literature and Business Administration from the University of Jordan, and a B.A. in Education from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
With over 22 years of experience in international education, Ms. Maysa has cultivated a deep understanding of global teaching standards and diverse learning environments. For the past four years, she has served as the Kindergarten Principal at Alliance Academy Jordan, leading with warmth, creativity, and a vision for holistic early childhood education.
Passionate about nurturing curiosity and confidence in young learners, she is dedicated to building strong educational foundations that inspire a lifelong love of learning and foster strong, independent personalities and future leaders.
Christina Abu Zulof
With over 20 years of experience in education, Ms. Christina is a seasoned specialist in special education and inclusive learning environments, dedicated to ensuring that every learner reaches their full potential.
Ms. Christina holds a B.A. in Special Education and a Diploma in Information Technology and Education, along with an International Certification in Sensory Integration. As a Certified Examiner for IQ and Cognitive Assessments and a Specialist in Diagnosing Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome, she brings a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and evidence-based intervention strategies.
Throughout her career, Ms. Christina has served in various teaching and administrative roles, shaping inclusive educational practices and supporting both students and educators. She currently serves as the Head of the Support Department at Alliance Academy Jordan while representing the school in the Public Schools Activities Association at the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, where she contributes to bridging the gap between policies and practice to promote fair and equitable education for all learners.
