Dear AAJ Families, Teachers, Staff, and Students,
It is with great joy that I welcome you all to a new academic year at Alliance Academy Jordan.
There is always something special about the beginning of a school year, the familiar sounds of our students returning, the excitement of seeing new faces, teachers getting their classrooms ready, and families preparing for another year. These moments remind us that a school is much more than a place of learning. It is a community, and a community grows together.
A new school year also brings a fresh start. It gives us the opportunity to try new things, learn from our experiences, challenge ourselves, and continue to grow. I am excited about the year ahead and all that we will experience together as an AAJ family.
Celebrating Our Students' Achievements
Before looking ahead, I would like to take a moment to celebrate what our students have achieved.
Our students have once again achieved excellent external examination results across both our British and American Programs:
British Program – Class of 2026: Eight out of twelve students achieved 90% or above in their Tawjihi Equivalency Averages, including an exceptional 100%.
IGCSE Results – June 2026: All six of our IGCSE students achieved 90% or above.
American High School Diploma Program – EST Results: In EST Mathematics Level 1 and Biology, 42.4% of entries achieved 90% or above, with no student scoring below 70%. Biology was particularly strong, with 70.6% achieving 90% or above.
Of course, we are proud of these results. But behind every result is a student who put in the effort, a teacher who supported and encouraged them, and a family who stood beside them.
To our students, we are proud of you, not only for your results, but for the effort, perseverance, and growth behind them. And to our teachers, staff, and families, thank you for being an important part of that journey.
Welcoming Our New Leaders and Colleagues
This year, we are very happy to welcome Ms. Razan Fakhoury, our new Primary Principal, and Ms. Katharina Halaseh, our new KG Principal, to the AAJ leadership team.
We are also pleased to welcome all our new teachers and staff members to our school.
Starting somewhere new can be exciting, and sometimes a little challenging. We hope you quickly feel at home and become part of the AAJ community. We are happy to have you with us.
Welcome to Our AAJ Families
I would also like to warmly welcome all the families joining AAJ for the first time, as well as our returning families.
Whether you have been with us for many years or this is your first year at AAJ, you are an important part of our community. We are grateful for your trust and for the opportunity to be part of your children's educational journey.
At AAJ, we believe that we are better when we work together. Our 3Rs – Relationships, Respect, and Responsibility continue to guide us in the way we learn, communicate, and treat one another. They are more than words; they are values we want our students to experience and carry with them wherever they go.
I also value the relationship we build with our families. Your questions, ideas, feedback, and involvement matter. We may not always have all the answers, and we may not always agree, but honest communication and mutual respect help us move forward together and keep our focus where it belongs, on our children. Our doors are always open.
As we begin this new academic year, I hope we remember that education is not only about grades or achievements. It is about who our students become. It is about helping each student discover their strengths, believe in themselves, reach their potential, and grow into people who care about others and make a positive difference in their communities.
I look forward to sharing another year of learning, growth, challenges, and achievements with our students, families, and staff.
