School Counselor 

Alliance Academy Jordan is looking for a dedicated School Counselor to support students’ psychological and social well-being and help them address academic, social, and behavioral challenges by following up on cases referred by administration, teachers, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the school counseling strategy in alignment with school policies and regulations.
• Monitor students’ behavioral and educational needs and submit periodic reports to the administration.
• Coordinate with teachers to hold regular meetings to discuss student development and concerns.
• Attend classes when needed to observe behavior and help resolve conflicts.
• Maintain counseling records and document meetings with students and parents.
• Prepare and implement an annual counseling plan, including individual and group counseling programs.

Individual Counseling:

• Behavioral and discipline-related issues.
• Academic underachievement and learning difficulties.
• Family, health, and psychological challenges.
• Personal and social issues affecting students.

Group Counseling & Community Engagement:

• Provide weekly awareness sessions, workshops, and guidance lectures for students.
• Organize training sessions for students, teachers, and parents.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents to support student development and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with 2+ years of experience 
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Exceptional organizational skills, professional conduct, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
